Omar Medicare is rural mini-hospital which is located approximately 13 kilometers from Khanewal (Punjab on the Khanewal-Multan section of the National Highway N5, on the old Grand Trunk Road. The hospital is an affordable and dependable health facility for the villages of 8 Kassi, Kohala, 7 Kassi, 6 Kassi, 5 Kassi an parts of Nau-Lakhi, Mulapur, Mahnisial, Nizampur and Shamkot (all are about 5 kilometers).
The facility is operational every day for 8 hours a day except on Fridays, when it is operational only for hours. The average daily attendance of patients averages at about 140 per day for the services being provided by the organisation. The eye treatment for cataract and insertion of lenses are provided by the hospital at cost ranging from Rs 1000 to Rs 5000 depending upon the nature of treatment provided. The cost of treatment is kept at bear minimum, covering the cost of lenses and surgeon fee.
